MATLAB/Simulink-Based Modeling and Simulation of a Sustainable EV Charging Station

With the rapid global adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), the development of efficient and sustainable charging infrastructure has become essential. A Green Electric Vehicle (GEV) charging station provides an environmentally friendly solution by utilizing clean and energy-efficient keywords for EV charging. This paper presents the modelling and simulation of a GEV charging station using MATLAB/Simulink. The proposed system integrates a photovoltaic (PV) array, a stationary energy storage battery, an EV charging station battery, and a utility grid. The simulation framework demonstrates the effective coordination of these components to ensure reliable, sustainable, and efficient EV charging.
